Discipline versus Motivation

While initially conceived as limited series, there are some exciting options for a new villain in a potential future season of Obi-Wan Kenobi (if Darth Vader doesn't return). Having returned to Tatooine to watch over young Luke Skywalker after rescuing Leia, Obi-Wan Kenobi has faced his past and embraced his Jedi path once more. However, the Empire still reigns and there are still plenty of threats out in the galaxy. With the assumption that Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 does happen, a new villain beyond Darth Vader is most likely in order. Not only was their reunion as former master and corrupted apprentice perfectly executed ahead of their final duel in A New Hope, it would also make sense for a new antagonist to take center stage for a more original and all-new adventure. Further conflicts between the two would also risk the overall continuity.
